Biography
Born in the Black Country, Stephen moved permanently to Manchester in 2003 as part of a career change.
Having already learned to play Trombone and Guitar, Stephen got involved in a band, originally signing on as the rhythm guitarist. He was quickly promoted to lead guitarist and singer. It was during this time that he penned his first song.
In July 2011, Strphen’s friend Gemma asked him to perform at a charity gig for Harpurhey Neighbourhood Project in north Manchester.
Conscious that he hadn’t played for a few years and needing a little bit of stage time to get his confidence back, he contacted the Manchester legend Tuesday Tony and asked to play at his night, which had temporarily moved to a Friday (conveniently the night before the charity gig). After a small hiatus in other projects, he released a single “Camelia’s love Song” in 2024
His new album will be released in December 2026
